Whether you're exploring new relationship dynamics or simply looking to keep the spark alive, open communication and enthusiastic consent are key ingredients for any delightfully kinky encounter. From the bedroom to the playroom, developing a foundation of trust, respect, and clear boundaries allows you and your partner(s) to let your freak flags fly freely.

This blog post is inspired by one of our fave episodes from the Double Teamed Podcast titled: BEST SEX PARTY EVER!

We handpicked the top three questions/comments from their listeners and here are Cami and Niki’s answers:

Double Teamed Podcast Q & A:

Question 1: How do you find safe play parties to attend?

Answer:

Typically in the past we’ve used Google & Reddit until we found our communities, now we attend parties mostly hosted by friends (and we still attend those hosted by clubs such as SNCTM).

But Reddit will definitely have reviews that you can look over if you want to make sure a party is safe.

Also, have extensive conversations with the hosts- most sex clubs have a screening process where you’re put in contact with their team.

Ask them questions!

Question 2: How do you set your boundaries at play parties?

Answer:

Communication is key! And you need to be able to communicate well & confidently, and know when you want to say YES or NO.

My best advice, have any hard no’s or limits set before you go in. That way when it’s time to communicate your boundaries, you can do so easily & effectively since you’ve already thought of them.

Remember, rejection is a natural occurrence at parties. Don’t be afraid to be turned down or to turn down someone else.

Question 3: What’s your post-play party self-care routine?

Answer:

Comfort food (usually pizza), & vegging out on the couch with a good movie.
